Nonprofit Management, Graduate Certificate

Our Nonprofit Management certificate prepares graduates for a role in within a wide variety of frameworks, such as community nonprofits, foundations, and fundraising. Our program reflects the increased growth of nonprofit organizations and the impact they provide to the community. Graduates will take an in-depth look at nonprofit theories, nonprofit strategies, and volunteer management.

Students in this program will be able to:

  • Understand and apply concepts, principles, and processes related to nonprofit organizations and how to manage a diverse workforce.
  • Recognize strategies for hiring, managing, developing, and retaining volunteers in the nonprofit setting.
  • Identify the concepts needed to properly fundraise, finance, and develop resources for nonprofit organizations.

Program Requirements 12 hours:


(Students choose ANY 4 courses) To earn a graduate certificate, the student must complete all coursework, maintain a minimum 3.00 GPA and have no more than one C in a course.

Note:


For those who wish to continue enrollment to seek the full master’s degree, the GPA required for admission is a minimum 3.00 and no more than one C in the certificate program.
