Institutional Statement

Wesleyan College complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as Amended. The Registrar should be consulted for details and procedures.

Every effort is made to insure the accuracy of information presented in this catalog. The contents should be considered advisory only and not regarded as an irrevocable contract. The College reserves the right to alter or change requirements, fees, course offerings, or other specified policies at any time.

Advisors are available to assist the student in the arrangement of her program, but responsibility for acquainting herself with regulations and fulfilling all requirements for degrees rests with the individual student.

Wesleyan College Gender-specific Language Policy

As the first women’s college in the world, Wesleyan College will maintain its use of women-centered language to reflect both our heritage and our mission. We recognize that not all of our constituents identify with feminine pronouns, and, therefore, faculty and staff will make all efforts to be respectful of individuals’ pronoun and name preferences.

Accreditations and Memberships

Wesleyan College is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the baccalaureate degree and the master’s degree. Wesleyan College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Wesleyan is also accredited by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

The Wesleyan College Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has Full Approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree in nursing program at Wesleyan College is accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.aacnnursing.org/ccne-accreditation).

Degree Planner

The Degree Planner link allows you to see, save, and/or print all the information about your program of study in a condensed, printable format.  To access, simply navigate to any program and click the Degree Planner link at the top right of the page.

Create Your Personal Portfolio

The My Portfolio feature allows you to save information in your own personal folder so you can go directly to it!

  1. Click on the My Portfolio link at the bottom of the left navigation bar.
  2. If you are a new user, click Create an Account. You’ll type your email address and a password.  If you choose not to create an account, your information will only be saved until you close the catalog.
  3. Then use the left navigation bar or the search box to find what you are looking for in the catalog.
  4. When you want to save a section, click the My Portfolio link at the top right of the page.
  5. The next time you go to your portfolio, your saved material will be there!
