HPE 113: Triathlon Training Goal: Introduction to the concept of swimming, running, and cycling as a form of intensive cross-training for physical fitness. Content: Goal-setting, discipline, nutrition, elementary physiology, equipment upkeep and regular running, swimming, and cycling. Repeatable: Yes; up to 3 times for a maximum of 4 credit hours. Prerequisite(s): Beginning swimming/background in running/swimming/cycling. Appropriate apparel and equipment required (i.e. swim goggles, cap, swimsuit, running gear). Credit: 1 Degree Level: Undergraduate
