PSY 320: Applied Cognitive Psychology Goal: To understand how cognitive psychology can be applied to real-world challenges involving learning, decision-making, and everyday behavior. Content: This course examines how cognitive processes-such as memory, attention, language, and decision-making-operate in real-world contexts. Students will use cognitive psychology to analyze problems and propose solutions in a variety of settings, including the workplace, education, healthcare, and public safety. Emphasis is placed on applying research-based principles to improve outcomes and support effective decision-making in these environments. Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 or equivalent Credit: 3 Degree Level: Undergraduate
