MST 387: Digital Production Goal: To equip students with practical skills in digital content creation, integrating theoretical knowledge and technical proficiency to produce media that effectively engages diverse audiences. Content: Hands-on projects that involve the planning, production, and editing of digital media content. Topics include storytelling for digital platforms, audience analysis, and the ethical considerations of media creation. Students will explore tools and techniques for video production, podcasting, and interactive media. The course will emphasize the application of media theories such as audience reception, cultural studies, and narrative analysis to guide and inform the production process. Through workshops, peer reviews, and final projects, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to create compelling and socially relevant media content.
