HON 101: Introduction to Honors, Agency, and Identity Goal: This course introduces students both to the Honors Program itself and to the Level 1 Honors Program Project: Agency and Identity. Students will learn about the goals of Wesleyan’s Honors Program and the different ways they can self-design Honors Projects throughout their time in the Honors Program. They will also plan and create their HON 101 Projects as part of this course. Content: Written and media-based content exploring concepts of Agency and Identity as well as research into different subject areas according to the topics chosen by students for their HON 101 Projects. Taught: Every spring Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor (students must be members or prospective members of the Honors Program). Grading: Letter grade Credit: 1 Degree Level: Undergraduate
