ENG 210: Critical Lenses

Goal: To introduce students to a range of interpretative strategies applied by recent scholars and reviewers to various texts. These strategies might include feminist, postcolonial, materialist, post-structural, and/or eco-critical approaches (among others).
Content: Print, visual, and/or digital texts and scholarly discussions of how these texts address and are interpreted by audiences.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 and one other ENG, CLM, COM, WGS, or MST course; or permission of instructor.
