BIO 265: Immunology Goal: To introduce students to the fundamental principles underlying the formation and function of the mammalian immune system. Content: This course focuses on differences in innate versus acquired immunity, antigen/antibody interactions, B and T cell activation, genes and genetic rearrangements involved in the development of lymphocytes and mechanisms underlying immune disorders. Fee Required: Lab Fee Prerequisite(s): BIO 110 and BIO 112 . Credit: 4 Degree Level: Undergraduate
